Online Education Can Help Students with Special Educational Needs

School advocates distance learning

Founder says special needs can be met via Web

By JAMES HAUG
REVIEW-JOURNAL

Wayne Tanker, the founder of Delta Academy (formerly know as West Care Charter school) is betting that instruction by Internet will be a good way reach to kids who have given up on formal education or whose lives are too complicated for an 8-to-3 school day.

Many of these students have self-esteem issues. A 16-year-old, for instance, might have seventh-grade math ability, but doesn't want to go to class with 12- and 13-year-olds.

Students with learning disabilities often lose a large part of their day in transportation to specialized schools far from their home. Their time might be better spent at home in front of a computer.

But Tanaka realizes online education "is cutting edge."

"Distance learning is the new frontier of education," he said at the Thursday night meeting of the Clark County School Board.

Comments such as these are becoming more commonplace as people begin to realize that online education is a very feasible option for many students. Magnum IQ believe that this is the growth industry of the 21st century and indeed of this decade. Not only will schools in our various countries be utilizing this type of technology, but parents will be picking up on this thought process and will be looking for online help for their children at home. Online education will supersede private home tuition. It is not only more cost effective but it is also time saving, convenient, and it is available at the click of a button 24/7.

Magnum IQ will be available for anyone to access after the full launch in September but in the mean time you can become part of a team that is building a future business in online education and having the privilege of experiencing this cutting edge technology first hand.

Online education is here to stay. Be ahead of the game. Visit the MIQ web site to see what they have to offer.

This list is being developed all the time to incorporate all the popular subjects in education today. There are English tutors, mathematics tutors, and science tutors.

They will go over the particular problems that your child is having, and explain to them and help them to understand how to complete their homework. All that is needed to gain this valuable information is to become a member of Magnum IQ.

Magnum IQ gives Children the Competitive Edge

So How does MiQ Work

The whole concept of MiQ is so revolutionary that many people I talk to just don't "get it". I have had several people say to "oh yes such and such a site offers online education". And yes they are right, there are many sites that offer education online.

But what most people fail to realize is that MiQ is using cutting edge technology. They are utilizing innovative internet video and audio technology to create a 1-on-1 tutoring scenario online. The student and the tutor will share an interactive digital whiteboard and will be able to work on the problems together in real time. Even though they may not be physically sitting face to face a live one on one environment is experienced. This makes personal tutoring highly effective and best of all - convenient.

Tutors are there to assist children with difficult homework assignments, a class project or just extra practice on a new skill.

This is just one of the ways MiQ will operate. What better way to give your child that competitive edge

Testimonials

Well the Beta testing has really kicked in now and testimonials are starting to come in. Here is one of the first ones we have received from a very excited lady!!!

'Wow, I have just come off my first workshop Internet Marketing 101, FANTASTIC, Don't think me silly but I cried, I am feeling so emotional thinking about the enormity of what we have in our hands, the potential for this is Huge.

I sat at my computer eating my breakfast, not having to get dressed or rush about getting ready to jump into the car & head out to a class.

Fantastic, the teacher was great, she spoke very slowly & was very calm when she had a couple of tech challenges (nothing major)

I worked in Angola, Africa for a year, they are hungry for Education & to learn English --

People in remote areas of Australia that are isolated WOW they now have the opportunity to learn new skills & be motivated.

The Message is VERY STRONG to see the power of what we have here ALL THE MIQ TEAMS MUST log into a class,

I want to thank you for having the vision, because you have given the world a very special gift.''
